These come from a family that kept everything in fabulous condition. The
newspapers in the feet of these boots are from 1967. Original laces
still have the nubs intact. No tears, rips, scratches just appropriate
wear or the bottoms of the leather soles. No marks. These may even be
1920's not sure. Could be government issued military, linesman, logger
or just awesome bear hunter boots from the
Northwoods of Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
The overall height from bottom of sole to top of uppers is 17". The sole is 12 1/8" long and 4 7/16th wide at the widest. The heel is 3 3/16th wide.
The leather has been cared for forever. Knowing this family they were probably conditioned occasionally over the years even though nobody was using them. Soft as an old baseball glove.
