These were, and are, made in the oil fields out west as an "end of the day" project. They are all hand made. Welded and polished stainless steel by Union Pipefitters. No fooling, look em up. Industrial folk art. These are pretty collectable and this one is cool because it isn't initialed. It would look great with a carved, decorative, presentation aluminum hard hat like this one.
