If fisherman have the largest amount of gimmicky products available to help them improve their sport, golfers have to come in a close second. Just got these yesterday. Practo "knit" practice golf balls in their original sleeve. They were invented and patented in 1926, these are probably from the early 1930's. They were made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by the Reliable Knitting Works. "Great for warming up, won't mar the furniture". Brilliant.
They are available for purchase here. At a recent major Golf memorabilia auction a full dozen in original store display box sold for $575.
