Vintage, German-made, Turm-Sport Mountaineering Stove. Also called a Spirit stove, these are the prefered stove used by mountain climbers today. Not new ones, they use these old ones. This one has the Lighthouse logo, the original canvas bag and is stamped and tagged Marke Turm.

Pickers tip-of-the-day. We just sold this old stove quickly and for a pretty high price. Apparently they were very expensive when new and are still being used today. In fact, mountain climbers really look for ones just like this as they must work better than new ones. FYI, there is a website for collectors and users of these and other old stoves Spirit Burner. There are tons of collectors on there looking to buy but no one is selling. Can't find much on these other than they did have some military applications in the late 1930's and early 1940's. Keep your eye out for these stoves, we got $150 for this one.
