One of the best attended events in downtown Wausau, is Chalkfest. It is organized and carried out by our hard working Center for Visual Arts.
Here is how they describe the event "The CVA is once again assisting Chalkfest and artists to transform downtown Wausau with colorful pastel art drawings. This is the 11th year for this sidewalk art festival which is for artists of all ages and levels of ability to participate and for art enthusiasts to observe and enjoy."
We had some torrential rains on Saturday but the artists worked through it and Sunday was lovely. This right across from our shop. Have a look, pretty amazing. Info on 2015 Chalkfest here
