19th century goat cart. Original red paint with black pinstripes. Great surface and patina.

One of the most popular Victorian era images was of young children in a two wheeled cart being pulled by a goat. Here are a few examples:

Last summer we had a really cool one that was made right here in Wisconsin. The paint was 100% original with all the appropriate wear a 100 year old object should have. We had it outside for photos when a friend came by with her big dog. Yeah, we hooked him up for a picture too.


Beware of reproductions of these and also small 4 wheeled wagons. They must show wear in all the correct places and surface should be dry and crusty.
